Ms. Mira's exclusive area of practice is Family Law.  She attended Loyola-Marymount University as an undergraduate and was granted early admission to Southwestern University School of Law prior to receiving her degree.  Ms. Mira received her Juris Doctor degree in 1986, the same year she was admitted to the California State Bar.

Ms. Mira began her legal career with one of the most prestigious insurance defense firms in Southern California, founded in the 1940s.  Ms. Mira became only the fourth woman partner in the firm.  During her tenure with the firm, Ms. Mira instituted an innovative training program for new associates, and taught Mandatory MCLE classes on Arbitration Skills from the Defense Perspective.

After practicing general insurance defense with the firm for 10 years, Ms. Mira made the decision to embark on a new legal career, and began to practice exclusively in the area of Family Law.  She began her Family Law practice with Arlene Colman-Schwimmer, a legend in the field of Family Law, and the "divorce attorney to the stars."  While at a subsequent Family Law firm, Ms. Mira wrote the "Rossi" brief and appeared in court with the firm's partner on behalf of a husband whose wife divorced him while hiding her Lottery winnings from him.  After discovering the extent of the wife's fraudulent and deceptive conduct the court stripped the wife of her entire Lottery winnings and awarded 100% of the Lottery proceeds to the husband.

Ms. Mira is a member of the Executive Board of the Family Law Section of the Beverly Hills Bar Association.  She is a member of the California State Bar, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Beverly Hills Bar Association, and the Los Angeles Collaborative Family Law Association, and is a trained collaborative family law attorney.
